We accomplish this by combining technology and a creative design to streamline, automate and simplify conventional processes within clinical research. Simply put, Viedoc makes every aspect of a clinical study a bit smoother, resulting in greater discoveries that make a difference, and has the potential to improve lives.
Real change means challenging the status quo – our driving force since we started almost two decades ago. In everything we do, we work for a healthier world, searching for better, more efficient solutions that answer to the needs of both our users and humanity.
What you will do and why:
Shape the foundation for scalable, secure, and efficient cloud operations We’re looking for a hands-on and technically strong DevOps Tech Lead to join our growing development organization. In this role, you’ll act as the key link between our platform team and development teams, ensuring that our Core Infrastructure is accessible, reliable, and implemented consistently across all teams.
This role combines technical leadership, coordination, and engineering and is central to enabling a smooth, high-performing Azure-based SaaS platform.
Our platform is built for speed, security, and scalability in a highly regulated domain. As we scale our product and organization, we need to further strengthen the bridge between infrastructure and product teams. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the platform team, while driving our journey towards full Infrastructure-as-Code and platform maturity. A key part of your mission will be to ensure that our Core Infrastructure is available to all development teams and that it is implemented and used correctly, providing a solid foundation for product development across Viedoc.
This means you will be responsible for:
- Lead the Team Platform’s day-to-day operations, including backlog management, sprint planning, and prioritization.
- Work hands-on with Azure DevOps (ADO), Azure services, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
- Ensure infrastructure requirements are clearly understood and implemented ahead of product releases.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO, product managers, and tech leads to align technical execution with business goals.
- Drive automation and consistency across environments, championing our shift toward a fully IaC-compliant infrastructure.
- Ensure that the Core Infrastructure is maintained, improved, and adopted consistently across teams, enable developers to focus on delivering value while relying on a secure and scalable platform.
- Build a sustainable DevOps culture by improving communication, tooling, and ways of working.
- Represent the platform team clearly across the organization, acting as a key interface between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
As a professional, we would like you to have:
- Deep technical experience in Azure, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep), and CI/CD tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps).
- Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Platform Engineer in a product development context.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and coordinate across multiple teams.
- Strong communication skills, you enjoy translating complex infrastructure topics into clear language.
- Experience with containers, observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana), and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for enabling others to succeed.
- Bonus if you have experience in making Core Infrastructure widely available, building internal platforms or developer enablement solutions that scale across multiple teams.
- Bonus: background in software development (e.g., C#/.NET) or experience in regulated industries like Life Science or HealthTech.
Why join us:
You’ll be joining a purpose-driven company improving global health through software. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of our cloud platform and contribute both strategically and operationally to a fast-growing product.
We offer:
- High autonomy and trust in your technical decisions
