What you will do and why:
We're looking for someone to be a Product Specialist of the Viedoc system. In other words, someone whom understands the system at the highest working level, and is able to train others to that same level. The main purpose of the job is to help our clients do better science. To that end, you will gain expertise in several dynamic fields: life science, computer science, and regulations for clinical trials. And you will work together with an engaged, multinational team who are happy to help you along the way.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Finding elegant solutions to novel problems in clinical research
- Training clients in proper use of the system
- Managing side projects
- Communicating with developers and technicians to help fix issues
- Maintaining polite correspondence with clients
As a professional, we would like you to have:
- An academic degree in the field of science
- Relevant work experience in clinical trials
- Fluency in English (French is also strongly desired)
- Expertise in R
- Some prior experience with computer science (i.e., can code in any language or otherwise have some notable competency with computers)
As a person, we would like you to be:
- A deep, investigative thinker - able to deconstruct and understand complex systems
- Methodical, organized, and exact
- Approachable and friendly
We would even appreciate it if you have:
- Fluency in other languages
- Expertise in JavaScript
- Teaching experience
